Lab: Simple Collaborative Grievance Redressal Tech

Process to co-create a collaborative simple online/offline grievance redressal/dispute resolution system to serve the needs of vulnerable communities
> It is extremely difficult for a single organisation, no matter how big, to solve complex problems at scale. There is an urgent and important need to work together as an ecosystem. As we look around us, we see that change makers are not able to easily collaborate with their partners, other CSOs, Government agencies while trying to serve the same vulnerable groups. They are good with their own internal collaborations but when it comes to collaborating with others, it was not easy. Think of these changemakers as messaging apps like Whatsapp and Telegram. These apps are great for communicating with other people or groups who are using the same app but you can't send a message from whatsapp to telegram. There is no interoperability! To solve complex problems at scale, the changemakers ecosystem needs to work with each other seamlessly. (Like email - one can send an email from gmail to hotmail and copy yahoo mail) > This video captures our process, journey so far - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1JBCA1rTTA This Lab will hold space for you as you, your ecosystem and cohort members go through a structured, inclusive process to co-create a simple collaborative Online/Offline Grievance Redressal System to solve for key needs of the vulnerable communities that you serve. ![why [email protected](12).png](https://t4glabs.org/markdown_attachments/6083/t59fzezzf2qlZfITgiDsVQ) We activate collective wisdom as cohort members think through needs, interact with the communities they work with, understand and maximise the positive impact of tech in their theory of change, minimize the negative impacts of tech, train front-line workers to confidently and effortlessly to use the solutions, and improve based on feedback received from user communities. ![Simple [email protected]](https://t4glabs.org/markdown_attachments/6084/ee_L6IivyRO2A4pygiKxtw) We are so excited! Looking forward to working together and co-creating. We believe tech is only 2% of the solution and once we finalise on the collective needs, we use simple low code frameworks like Frappe, ERPNext as a starting point for our tech and customize it to match the needs of the solution. > Impact for far: We helped build the tech for India Labourline. We did this through a process that brought together brought together 8 NGO partners, Funders, Trade Unions. As of April 2022, It has reached 25,000+ migrant workers, solved 800+ cases of unpaid wages and helped recover INR 1.1 Crore in wages.
